本人為現職精算師，會考成績優異，高考4A。在香港大學精算系畢業。 有耐性，和可以隨時問功課。 有補習經驗，補習時間主要是星期6。

I am Dr. Lars Thomsen, a passionate computational physicist with a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Hong Kong and a Master’s from the University of Copenhagen. Inspired by exceptional teachers who integrated technology into science through simulations and data analysis, I have developed a love for using programming and mathematics to solve complex problems. Currently, I work part-time as a senior research assistant at the University of Hong Kong, where I study how black holes devour stars and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in their research projects. My goal is to inspire others to pursue science through the use of technology. I offer private tutoring for primary and secondary students looking to develop their intuition in mathematics and physics, preparing them for future academic success. With my expertise, I can teach all grade levels and effectively prepare students for the DSE and IB exams, as well as improving their overall grades. I believe that effective education goes beyond simply providing answers or relying solely on textbooks. My approach centres on fostering intuition and a deep understanding of fundamental principles through a student-centred learning model that emphasises questioning and critical thinking. When students grasp core concepts rather than just memorising them, they find it easier to absorb and understand new material.

本人為全職數學老師。在香港理工大學會計及金融學院科目畢業。為人有耐性、有愛心，懂得與人相處。本人主攻數學，有效率地教授數學及通識解題技巧，全面提升數理能力，本人自小對數學有深厚的興趣，並對數學考試出題方式有一定程度的了解。並能掌握眾多同學對於數學不明白的地方。本人文憑試中數學core(m1)取得5*(5)的分數，有超過八年的中學補習經驗，學生包括協恩 英華 德望 喇沙 真光 沙官中 聖羅撒 沙田崇真 可風 顏寶玲，本人能夠提供大量試題給各位家長和同學，務求能增加同學對數學的認識和提高考試分數。
